Institute
of Vedic Astrology, the publishers of the 'Vedic Astrology' magazine is
conducting a seven days course in Vedic Astrology in the Himalayan valley
in India. All the earnings from the course will be donated to the SOS
Memorial Trust to provide free surgical and medical treatment to poor
patients in rural areas of the country through organization of medical camps. |

There will be two levels to teaching - the
beginners level and the advanced level. |

Beginners
Level: |
The course is for students of any age who wish
to study and explore this wonderful ancient science. No qualifications or
previous knowledge required. The course will provide the basic knowledge,
which the student can build on and in time can lead to academically recognized
qualifications in astrology. |

Advanced
Level: |
For serious students who have the basic knowledge
of Vedic astrology and want to explore various advanced techniques of analyzing
a horoscopic chart. |

Venue: |
Nainital (Uttaranchal, India). Nanital
is a small picturesque lake-town situated in the lap of the Kumaon
Himalaya in the Uttaranchal state, some 285 km north-east of Delhi.
at an altitude of 1938 meters (over 6000 feet) from the sea level.
One gets a breathtaking view of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks from
here. The peace and tranquility pervading in the surroundings here
offers the best environs for the study of Vedic astrology. |

All participants would be tested about for
proficiency in the subject taught, during as well as at the end of the course.
Successful completion of the Advanced Course Programme would entitle the
participant to the title of 'Fellow of the Institute of Vedic Astrology'.
Completion of the Basic Course Programme entitles the participant to the
title of 'Fellow of the Institute of Vedic Astrology (I)'. |

Honorary
Faculty: |
Dr. K.S. Charak: M.S. (Surgery),
FRCS (UK) and head the surgery department at a Delhi hospital, Dr. Charak
has studied and practiced astrology for over 30 years. He is the editor
of the bimonthly magazine, 'Vedic Astrology', and has authored some of
the best-known books on Vedic Astrology.
J.N. Sharma: Master of Prashna or Horary Astrology, J.N.
Sharma is the Delhi Chapter Chairman of the Indian Council of Astrological
Science (ICAS) founded by Dr. B.V. Raman. New Delhi Chapter is actively
engaged in teaching Vedic Astrology to over 500 students at any given
time.
Vinay Aditya: Associate editor of the 'Vedic Astrology'
magazine, and author of a book on Ashtakavarga, Vinay Aditya holds a degree
in engineering besides Jyotish Visharad from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New
Delhi. He has been teaching astrology for nearly 8 years, now with the
ICAS. He has also been the faculty member at the ACVA conferences. He
has given consultations to over thousand persons in Germany in a record
period of three months. |
