No doubt one has to understand the subject first before refering to classics, but once you understand the basics and then to enhance the knowledge and sutras to connect the theory one can refer this book.
The author has explained the concepts with simple yet practical approach, and the clarity of the concept to be used in Vimshottari Dasha is beautifully explained.
No author can provide you step by step guide to connect but what actually matters is the clarity so that with practice and efforts one can establish the connection.

The book is ideal for beginners and the language used is fluid and easy to understand without complex terminology. The example charts are repeatedly used to explain the various principles makes interpretation easy and follow through the journey of the chart. The book needs to be read multiple times to assimilate the depth of the explanations fully and use it in practice. Highly recommended.
